Tasmanian Wakame is an Australian edible Seaweed Nutritional Powerhouse packed with Omega-3 Fatty Acids. It has a slightly sweet and silky texture and commonly used in seaweed salads or miso soups. Each serving of wakame also contains vitamins A, C, E and K, and iron, copper and phosphorus.
One of the most recognisable seaweed types, Nori, is dried and pressed into nori sheets and used most often in sushi rolls and onigiri. It is typically eaten dry and used in many East Asian cuisines, namely Korean and Japanese. Nori can contain up to 10 times more calcium than Milk. Its also loaded with other nutrients including copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc and then some! Nori is packed full of vitamins too.
